I can’t say enough great things about Annie and her salon! For the past 3 years, Annie has been my go-to for the most stunning blonde color, and she truly works magic. The way she highlights my hair is so natural and seamless that I only need a touch-up every 12 weeks—it’s amazing how effortlessly it grows out. Plus, my hair has never been healthier or grown faster! Even after moving to Albuquerque, I still make the trip back just to have Annie work her magic. She has a wonderful eye for color, and our conversations are always a highlight of my day. She has the best book and show recommendations, making each visit fun and engaging. Annie is super friendly and down-to-earth, and it’s clear she really cares about her clients. Recently, I had the pleasure of getting a cut from Andy, and it was just as incredible. He customized the style to suit my face, including a beautiful job on my bangs, and brought out the best in my hair. He’s not only talented but also so friendly and easy to chat with. I can’t recommend Annie and Andy enough—they are a fantastic team, and I always leave their salon feeling refreshed and confident. Annie is an absolute expert in blonde, and my hair continues to look natural even when I have growth. Andy's expertise in how hair texture, hair growth and facial structure lends a unique ability to curate a hair style that is perfect for you. I went to Andy a few months ago to do a dramatic cut - long hair to above the shoulder bob, and he absolutely crushed it! Andy and Annie at CAKES are THE BEST. Every two months, I get my hair tinted by Annie - she does a great job of hiding those greys. Andy, with his hair cutting skills, miraculously makes my thick curly hair look great. To boot, they are both engaging, fun, and nice. Never getting my hair done anywhere else.
