I have been a client of Jena’s and Alan’s since Salan H opened. Jena always takes the time to talk with me prior to my service. Never once have I felt rushed. Jena listens to anything new I may want to do (which is quite often) and then she does her magic. She is THE best! We are never at a loss for words, and not only is she wonderful at what she does, but she always makes it a point to ask about what may be going on in my personal life with such interest and vice versa. We have become very good friends. In my opinion, your relationship with your colorist is just as important as the color itself. Alan cuts my hair, and he has the patience of a saint because I’m always switching up my style. I have lost track of the amount of strangers who stop me to ask where I get my hair cut. This speaks volumes as to the caliber of work Alan does. The atmosphere at Salan H is always fun, energetic, and positive. You can tell everyone enjoys working here. From being greeted by Meri who always has that huge smile of hers, to getting your head massaged by Bella the Best, and the final touch is having Rae bring everything together with her blow drying skills. I will never go anywhere else. I look forward to going to Salan H not only to get my hair done, but also for the conversation, laughter, and walking out feeling like a million bucks!!

After having bad experiences with my hair - I found Jena over a decade ago through a friend. Our journey together began with Jena trying to even out terrible layers I was given by someone else and to lighten up my face with highlights. Over the years, we progressed to a very natural and low maintenance balayage. I’ve watched her grow from apprentice to hair colorist/ stylist and am constantly blown away - not only with her knowledge of all things hair but also with the precision of the balayage application itself. I’ve been seeing Jenna at Salan H for as long as I can remember and time and time again she works some magic on my hair. I’ve gone all different shades of blonde, to red and she always ensures she fully understands what you’re looking to achieve, and her artistry and knowledge of color and products leaves me thrilled with my results every time. i am obsessed with this salon. everyone is so nice and it’s such a great atmosphere. i got a balayage with Bella and it turned out AMAZING. i have had so many salon horror stories so i was a bit nervous to get my hair colored after not touching it for so long. but Bella knew exactly what she was doing and absolutely nailed it. definitely will be coming back.

Over two years ago I came in with dark black hair ( for over ten years) and Jena has gotten me to a fabulous brown balayage and nails it every time.
