I can't possibly write a review that does Juliana justice. Not only is she an absolute master of her craft, she is also one of the most genuinely kind people you will ever meet. When I moved to NY from San Francisco I struggled to find someone to do my blonde color. I spent a lot of money at high-end salons (kennaland, suite reyad) but just ended up underwhelmed with the results . In just one visit Juliana brought my hair back to life and has been my go-to for the best baby blonde color ever since. Her prices are very reasonable for what you're getting compared to other stylists/salons. I've done house calls and gone to Bassia - both have been wonderful experiences. If you go to Bassia, try to book Sarah for a cut! I'm so grateful to have found Jules - if you're searching for someone to do your color, run don't walk!

I trust Juliana with my life. Her skill with color is truly unmatched, she is always ahead of the curve with trend and has such a phenomenal intuition about what looks best for your complexion, lifestyle and care habits. I used to not be that adventurous with my color because I didn't know what would look good on me where I would still feel like myself but Juliana has gently and confidently encouraged me to explore new color options and, after seeing her for 4+ years, I've NEVER been disappointed. Not only that, she's cool as hell, kind, funny, smart and someone I could spend 24 hours talking in a chair with. I'm so lucky she comes to San Francisco and LA for pop-ups!

Fortunately, a friend recommended Bassia Bassia to me in the nick of time - Juliana and Juan SAVED my hair from another NYC salon's sh*tty job, and I now trust them with my life. Not only are they incredibly talented and thorough, but they create such a warm and inviting space in the salon. Juliana is amazing! I used to get my color done by her in San Francisco and was delighted when she started doing pop ups in Los Angeles where I live now. She is so knowledgable when it comes to the exact vibe you're going for with your color - from tone to technique. I wanted to go extra blonde (for me!) for the Summer, so she did a full balayage that really made my blonde dynamic and "sparkle" as she says! I can't wait until she comes back in three months to do a gloss and face framing to keep it up. 10/10 will follow Jules 'till the end!

Words can't fully express how great of a job Juan did with my hair for my wedding. Right when the trial began, I knew he was the one. Not only did he make me look ammazzzziiingggg with the style he did, he also made my hair untouchable. It was very humid on my big day and usually my hair curls up so fast but everything stayed in place. If you want to look your best and be confident that the weather won't ruin your look, book Juan!!
