yes, all of the other reviews are true: this place is a literal dreamscape. the vibes are immaculate. it feels like you got invited to the extra cool kids' party for an intimate sleepover when you step off the elevator and into the diaphanous chandelier-lit, velvet-and-leopard-and-fringe trimmed salon (and i mean salon as in hair salon but ALSO as in baroque gilded age with a tinge of 80s metal salon where intellectuals and bon vivants get together to talk about life and art and gossip). but i'm not here to talk about that. i'm here to talk about the fact that these are the best cuts and colors i've ever gotten in my life. yes, you feel like a million bucks (ok, in this economy, a billion bucks - inflation, amirite) when you walk out of there, and while you're in the chair for that matter. but for me, what makes me so addicted to house of reagan is how good my hair looks 2-3 weeks, a month, 2 months later. like, the cuts and the color somehow get better with time. the stylists are masters at what they do. i love it there so much and even though i am addicted to my long mermaid hair, i sometimes contemplate cutting it just so i can have an excuse to go in there more often and hang out. xoxo

I had a really good experience with Alannah Perrino at House of Reagan. She took her time and was very thorough. I really appreciated the head massage!!!! Wonderful! I feel really happy with the ct and color! The salon is very fabulous. Vintage rock and roll mixed with Barbie doll beauty. I love the 1980s playboy and the Ouji board to play with while my hair processed. Gr at experience, give them a try. All the colorists there seemed very competent and experienced.

Ahh house of Reagan is a true gem. THE best blow out ever. Don’t waste your money going to dry bar, Reagan is it. She really takes the time to listens to your hair concerns during haircuts and you walk out looking amazing. Not to mention, the space is gorgeous and sexy yet still cozy. So glad I found her and this amazing space.

What she has created is so beautiful and so special and truly such a respite from all of the bland, personality-less salons that permeate the city. Douglas is a wizard with my red color, too! I'd give it another star if I could!
