I cannot emphasize this enough, this place and the people that fill it, are incredible. They are thoughtful and compassionate, prioritize your comfort, and work with such expertise to provide an incredible service and experience wholly. There is a strong and genuine sense of community, care and unity here. I've only visited a few times so far as I recently followed my long-time stylist Diaz to Iron Feather, but each visit has left me feeling better than when I walked in! Highly recommend Diaz for all sorts of color and cut--she is a true master of her craft. She is reliable and trustworthy, but also truly listens to the client's needs--she takes the time to understand your desired end goal, but also the realistic maintenance of your hair outside of the salon. She is phenomenally gifted whether you're looking for someone who masters blondes or really creative color projects.

I had my first experience at IRON | FEATHER with Nico, and it was honestly incredible from start to finish. Nico was so kind, attentive, and instantly made me feel at ease, especially since I was a little nervous trying a completely new cut! I ended up getting a floating bob with curtain bangs, something I’ve never had before, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. It feels fresh, flattering, and exactly what I didn’t know I needed. Truly obsessed. I also met the owner, who was just as warm and welcoming, which added to the whole experience. The space itself is unreal: so unique and inspiring, with art everywhere and such amazing energy. I’ve genuinely never been in a salon like it before. I’m already looking forward to coming back, maybe for color (first time in decades) or a glaze next time, which says everything. Highly recommend, LOVE LOVE LOVE!

I had a bad color experience somewhere else that left my hair looking pink where blonde should have been. Then I went to Iron-Feather and saw Nico, and everything changed. He didn’t just “tone it down” or throw a quick fix on it. He figured out what went wrong on a technical level, explained it in a way that made sense, and then corrected it very fast. My hair is not only back to blonde, but it looks better than it has in a long time. Healthy and clean. You can tell he really understands color chemistry which is pretty rare. If you’re dealing with a color disaster or just want someone who genuinely knows what they’re doing, go see Nico. He knows how to do things other people can’t. ❤️👑

I 100% recommend Nico! I'm indecisive and he really helped me weigh my options and choose a service that makes sense for me. We landed on highlights but in way that's not too harsh and is more of a lived-in color. He did a layered cut and a blowout after and I loveddd the results. I can already tell this style/color will last me a long time but I will definitely be coming back as soon as I'm ready for another change :)
