I’ve been seeing Whitney for YEARS, first in San Francisco and now in NYC, and let me tell you—she’s hands down the best. From color to cuts to extensions, she’s done it all for me, and every single time, it turns out incredible. What I love most is that she’s a total pro in everything, so I don’t have to hop between specialists. Whitney does it all and does it FAST—yet somehow, it’s always flawless. Not only is she crazy talented, but she’s also one of the loveliest humans ever. Gorgeous inside and out, her kind heart is even more beautiful than her stunning looks (and that says a lot!). You can’t help but want to be around her—she brings the best vibes to the chair. The studio, Loft 177, is also a dream—chic, welcoming, and conveniently located. I’ve referred so many friends to her (probably 10+ at this point), and we’re all obsessed. If you’re looking for someone who will make you feel like the best version of yourself while also making you laugh and feel at home, Whitney is your girl!

Go to Loft 177! I’ve been seeing Whitney since the minute Loft 177 opened. I booked an appointment with her after not being super satisfied with my longtime stylist and haven’t looked back. I love everything about the services — everything is always 100% worth it and I never feel oversold. My appointments are always a cut and either a partial or full highlight, but there’s always a conversation about my needs, so more often that not, I walk out with a partial highlight (read: my services cost less but my hair still looks great). Whitney also takes her time to dry cut my very finely textured, but thick, hair to make sure my cut looks always looks great which is something I’ve found only a few stylists have been able or willing to take the time to do. Loft 177, & Whitney especially, are the best. I tell everyone they should go book an appointment in SoHo with a nice lady named Whitney if they want to go (or stay) blonde!!

I would book with Jules immediately - I came in to help blend my over grown and streaky BRIGHT blonde into something more natural to my roots so that I could finally leave blonde behind. I showed her some quick videos and she knew exactly what to do, no hesitation. I felt like I was in the best hands, I was never worried, and she explained everything as we went which is so important for me since I am always making sure every step of the way I’m on the same page as my stylist. Plus she is just a joy to hang with. My hair is even better than I thought it would be and just gets better each day. Truly would trust her with my hair any day!

Whitney Whitney Whitney!! I cannot say enough about how talented she is- Since moving to Manhattan 4 years ago, I have struggled to find a good colorist and have been to multiple hair salons. With Whitney, she immediately knew how to get my hair the blonde that I have been trying to go for - without damaging it and without causing brassiness (I am a natural brunette). I am OBSESSED She is the only colorist I will let touch my hair in the city! If you haven’t been to her gorgeous salon in SoHo - you need to go 🤍

I’ve been a client of Grant for over two years and he is the best!! Perfect color every time and grows out so naturally. I recommend this salon all the time and everyone that’s gone are now long time clients. Seriously, especially if you need blonding or color or anything, just come here - 1000% trust. Also, I love how Grant always explains the process and helps you get what you’re actually going for :) Also, the vibes are so nice and relaxed. And sometimes there are puppies :)

Grant at Loft 177 is my favorite, I’ve been going to him since I moved to NY from LA in 2018. I was so excited when he partnered with Whitney and opened the space. It’s beautiful, everyone is nice and it’s such a chill vibe (I would literally come hang out here if they let me). Grant is amazing for blondes, I’m super specific and I haven’t left anyone else touch my hair since moving to NY.
