I have been getting my hair cut by Greg Weglarski for almost three years now. I love his dry cuts and attention to details that most other salons are not matching. I've learned so much about my hair and taking care of it. My hair went from bone straight to wavy/curly in my mid-20s and I had no idea how to handle it. My hair texture has totally transformed with the products and haircare techniques he's introduced me to. I get complimented on my natural hair all the time thanks to Greg! I feel so pampered when I go to Greg for a blowout. He does an AMAZING shampoo and loads my hair up with nourishing products and masks. He does not skimp on the scalp massage and it feels divine!! My damaged ends literally disappear for a few days. I love his round brush blowout and I always leave feeling like a freaking celebrity. Beyond technique and intel, Greg is such a gentle sweetie and an amazing service provider. He will really check in and listen to make sure that you're happy with the direction of the haircut. He never takes too much off when I ask for a trim. And he always patiently redoes it when I inevitably realize that I want more of the damaged ends trimmed off. I can always confidently ask for adjustments with the styling or really any part of the haircut. Which is pretty rare in my hair salon history.

Sometimes I am quick to write a review after a haircut and then struggle styling it on my own, but it’s been nearly two weeks and I am so grateful for the cut this kind man gave me that has helped me feel beautiful again (your timing was perfect, Greg!) I came to him with limp, thin, winter hair that has, in the past few months, lost its curl pattern and he patiently worked in his unconventional way (dry, then wet, then dry again) to achieve perfect balance that works with my current texture while also encouraging more volume and definition. Kind human, but also super attentive, communicative, and humble. Thank you!

I’ve been going to Greg for a few years now and I won’t let anyone else touch my hair! I usually don’t go into the city for cuts. But, Emmitt at Spoke & Weal is definitely worth the trip. I have thick, straight-ish hair and need someone with phenomenal layering skills to create connected layers. Oi, no shags for me please! Friends have commented that my haircut frames my face and has a lot of lightness and movement. I try to be humble and say, “really?”

Wonderful and kind staff all around! Taken care of the minute I walked in until I left. Claira was so kind and attentive with my hair goals. I have a lot of hair so the appointment went on longer than planned, but Claira did not rush me out and still gave me exceptional service. Can't wait for my next visit!
