Marmalade is great! Onika and Stevie have given me some of the best if not the best haircuts I've ever had. Onika took the time to really hear what I was saying and made sure she understood what I wanted for my hair before moving forward. She was simultaneously in the zone cutting, and having a nice, down to earth conversation with me. She had some really good ideas to compliment what I wanted, and asked me if it was OK before she implemented them. I ended up with a really cool, slightly wavy short razor cut. Stevie is super chill and makes styling seem easy. I feel totally comfortable when she suggests I try something, and it always looks good. She turned me on to the razor cuts. Just as important: the life affirming community vibe at Marmalade is so powerful. I’m grateful I get to be a part of it. Shout out to Onika’s awesome dog, Pickles, who warmed my heart and my lap.

I drive 3 hours to visit Tiff and be in their chair at Marmalade. The hair cuts I get transform me into the queer baddie who lives underneath my natural thin mousey brown hair mop . Everytime I get my hair cut by tiff people stop me and ask about my hair. Old friends randomly DM saying wow that haircut is so perfect for you. As a stylist Tiff makes me feel beautiful inside and out. True master of the razor. No blow out necessary and ive never been so happy. The salon is so amazing and comfortable. I am jolly loud and boisterous so I try to tone it down as I noticed some clients have totally silent appointments. That is such a cool service for folks who just want to vibe. Not having to small talk and let the stylist work. The other clients and stylists have always been extremely polite and welcoming. Looking forward to my next apt!

New location, same incredible salon and stylist. I’ve been following Casey from location to location because for almost three years they’ve been giving me the shag cut of my dreams. I’m someone who usually loves trying new stylists and experimenting with different looks, but Casey’s work kept me coming back time and time again. Even my dad told me it’s the best haircut I’ve ever had — and the best part is how low-maintenance it is to wear every day. Casey’s talent and easygoing personality truly make every appointment something to look forward to. Marmalade salon is a gem. They’re the first clean air salon I ever tried which made me realize fresh air in salons is essential. The new location has a welcoming atmosphere with skylights, cozy chairs, and good vibes.

Nora, I can’t keep our relationship a secret anymore… I wanted you all to myself, but that wouldn’t be fair, the world deserves your talent and good hair. Nora is incredibly talented and thoughtful, and she listens! She consistently nails exactly what I want (even when I don’t fully know how to explain it). I came to Nora after 10 years of going to barbers and keeping my hair very short, and she’s been amazing in helping me discover my new style as I grow my hair out. Along the way, I even learned that I have curls which I never knew until this journey. I always leave feeling confident and genuinely taken care of. Nora is so talented, kind, and mindful. I hadn't been to a salon in years and was really looking for a welcoming space, with present people who care. I was very grateful that she has the option to book a silent haircut, for those with sensitivities, this is super helpful as sometimes mentally grounding is needed in such stimulating environments. I loved that Nora knew intuitively when to communicate and share silence! She sincerely observed, and registered what my witchy wild hair needed and made a masterpiece of it. I highly recommend her as a stylist 💖 p.s. being greeted by pickle (the dog) at the door was very heartwarming and adorable 🥹

TIFF McCOLL is theeee best! I am very picky on who cuts my hair. I have had 2 services from her: a full haircut and a half-haircut!!! I am so happy and lucky to have found such a capable hairstylist that can execute the haircuts that I want. I have a round face and it takes someone that is really good to make my haircuts cool. Tiff did just that and then some!!!! What a gem! I really want to gate keep but Tiff is IT! Great Listener and understood exactly what I was going for!!! Super sweet!!! A joy really!!!
