I always look forward to getting my haircut at Sweet Jane Salon. The salon is a very welcoming space: as soon as you come in, you’re offered tea or water, the space is beautifully decorated, it feels serene and relaxing. But what is more important than the ambiance is the incredible talent of both Nick and Norm. I’ve been getting my hair cut by Nick for a couple of years; his skills with razor cutting are crazy good! I keep my hair short to mid length, and each time I come in, I have pictures or videos to show him of what I would like to try. I love that Nick tells me what would and wouldn’t work with my hair texture and my face, and then creates something that follows “the spirit” of what I wanted and looks amazing on me! I always trust him, and I have never left the salon not feeling great about my cut.

I’ve been coming here for close to two years and every time has been a fantastic experience. Nick is a master with color and gets curly hair. (I’m somewhere between a 3b and 3c.) Also! Nick and Norman make everyone feel welcome and at home. I have the greatest chats with them both and it makes my appointments fly by. Highly recommend. July 2025 Update: Recommend even more highly! Still getting amazing cuts and color from Nick and I get compliments on my hair ALL THE TIME. In addition to their delightful space, their wonderfully welcoming vibe, and their expert services, Nick and Norman also have great products and a focus on sustainability. The folks I’ve sent to Sweet Jane have also been really happy with their services. Go!

I recently received cut and a highlight from Nick. He definitely knows his craftsmanship, and is quite a talent!. Nick & Norman make you feel right at home. I'm very pleased with the outcome. Will continue to be a client, and am thrilled to have Nick as my hairdresser! The salon's aesthetically very pleasing and inviting. Music 🎵🎶 and over all vibe is relaxing & these two gentleman, Norman & Nick are seasoned and are the best at what they do! The best Hair Salon experience I have ever had! If I could give a 10 Star I would but google is no fun. The salon's atmosphere itself was so welcoming and relaxing. I get my color and cut done by Nick! I’ve been going to him for the past year and a half. He is so knowledgeable and consistent on my razor cuts and color. He took my hair from black to an amazing red/auburn color and I am in love with it! The best hairstylist in San Diego :)
