I had a haircut I hated (The previous stylist at a different shop cut it two days prior) technically there was nothing wrong with the cut, but it was completely opposite of everything that I had asked for. Every time I looked in the mirror I felt really angry and I just kept saying I hated it. I hated it. I hated it. That is not how you should be looking in the mirror at yourself, lol. So I called around and found this shop open on Sunday and made an early appointment. I was really concerned about the cost after having just spent a similar amount for something I hated, I was concerned about being heard this time. Aimee did listen to me. Did hear me and I felt very comfortable and relaxed during her fixing this bad cut. It's the biggest sigh of relief to have someone listen to you. I'm so glad I found this shop. Well worth the extra cost to get what I wanted.

I have very thick, curly, frizzy, difficult hair and it took me a long time to find someone who understood how to cut and treat my hair without it ending up a frizzy mess. That someone is Aimee, at Grow! I have medium brown hair, but wanted to color it red once it started to go grey. Aimee did a custom color for me so most people don't know that I'm not a natural redhead! I've tried cheaper salons, but was never satisfied. Once I found Aimee, I've never gone anywhere else. I don't even live is Ballard anymore but I still make the trip to Grow. I've seen Jessica a few times as well and she's done a great job. They keep detailed notes in my file so another stylist knows what to do if Aimee is not available.

Hannah was personable, attentive, and talented. To start the story. I got a haircut I didn't like a month ago from another salon. And I was trying really hard to like it when I came up with an idea... A crazy idea. A dramatic A line bob, but I would need extension in the front to achieve it... So I booked my appointment, and showed up with a crazy idea and extensions in hand. And Hannah made it happen! Not only did she make my weird request a reality. She fixed my hair cut! So it looks good even with out the extensions. She is an artist! And possibly magic. And now she might be stuck with me.
