My hairstylist recently moved out of state so I was in search of someone new. I had met Sierra at a networking event, and decided to give her a shot. I was a little hesitant because I live in Santa Barbara and the salon is in Summerland, but it turned out to be a way shorter drive than anticipated! Only 10 minutes from my office to the salon. The salon is gorgeous and has a beautiful view! Sierra is also amazing - she was able to provide me with a cut and highlight that I love! I was also able to schedule an appointment quickly (she offered an appointment within a week or two of me reaching out). Sierra brings a friendly and calming presence, and the 3 hour appointment flew by. If you are considering a new stylist, I definitely recommend Sierra at Summerland Salon & Spa!

BEST SALON EVER!!! We all know the struggle to find a great salon…we’ll let me tell you, I have found it right here in Summerland! This place not only has Uber talented hairdressers (shoutout to Emily who is a rockstar!), but the environment is so beautiful, peaceful and welcoming! I’ve been here twice now, first visit was a cut and style, second was for a partial balayage. Both turned out beautiful thanks to EMILY! I hope she never leaves! Can’t wait to return soon for a facial! This place does it all! If you’re a local in SBC, you should check them out! PS: they have an awesome drink menu that is complimentary with service!

I had the best salon experience here! Having struggled to find the right salon for me, which is a place I look forward to visiting and a quality haircut, I am so happy with the Summerland Salon! My hair was damaged from very hard water and it has been restored with the help of the recommendations Jessica, my hairstylist here, gave and the product line the salon uses.. Najeau. I had a lovely glass of iced tea on a warm summer day and got a great haircut that fits my face shape and style very well. Can't wait to come back!

I sent my boyfriend here to get cleaned up, and WOW is all I have to say. He came back glowing, not only from his incredible haircut and beard trim, but also from the warmth and care of all the staff. He said that they served him a cocktail! I’ve seen Kara for over a decade! She does the most beautiful natural color that grows out flawlessly and even gets better over time. She’s cut my hair so many different ways from super long to fun bobs to short fun cuts. She can do it all!
