Carlos is nothing short of a genius. (And perhaps one of the nicest humans on the planet but let's talk about hair first.) I have been seeing Carlos for 20+ years for straightening and color. We have progressed from Japanese straightening to Keratin but my last service was for a new plant-based straightening product called MAGIC SLEEK. And OMG, magic doesn't even begin to describe it. The texture, shine and overall appearance of my hair is, in a word, gorgeous. It doesn't feel chemically treated, in fact it just feels NATURAL. I have very thick, coarse, frizzy hair - hence the long history of straightening treatments - and while the keratin would make my hair very manageable, the Magic Sleek treatment has just taken it to another level. I can blow dry and style it with just a brush and a blowdryer, and it literally takes minutes to be straight and shiny. If I let it dry naturally, the texture of my hair is straighter - and sleeker - than it has been with my previous Keratin treatments. To say I am thrilled with my hair would be an understatement - and I will be getting the Magic Sleek treatment from here on out!
